Registered Dental Assistant/Chairside Dental Assistant - Sterilization

Grande Prairie Family Dental Clinic is a busy, well-established, patient-focused clinic located on the North side of the city of Grande Prairie. Our busy family-oriented practice offers Restorative Dentistry, Extractions, Crowns, Bridges, Invisalign and Botox. The practice uses Laser therapy and iTero Scanning focusing on providing the highest quality of care for all patients. We operate in an environment that values team-based contributions and hard work. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and passionate about dentistry with a willingness to learn and advance with the clinic.
Excellent wages based on experience: $28-$40/hr.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• Ability to use iTero for scanning for crowns, bridges, Night guard.
• Able to assist with Nitrous oxide sedation, (preferred).
• Registered to work in Alberta.
• Time management skills.
• Friendly and compassionate.
• Reliable and flexible.
• Team player.

Schedule:

• Full time position.
• 8-hour shift.

Chairside Dental Assistant (Training Provided)
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Chairside Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice! No prior experience? No problem - we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments.
• Set up and break down treatment rooms.
• Take dental X-rays (training provided if needed).
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Prior dental experience is a plus, but not required.
