$28.50 per hour dependent on experience

Ruth & Naomi's Mission is seeking a Kitchen Skills Facilitator to deliver hands-on kitchen and food service training through our Employment Program.

This role supports participants in developing practical kitchen, food preparation, food safety, teamwork, and workplace readiness skills that can help prepare them for future employment opportunities in food service and hospitality environments.

What You'll Do

Facilitate kitchen skills and food-service focused training sessions
Teach food preparation, kitchen safety, professionalism, teamwork, and workplace expectations
Create supportive learning environments that build confidence and practical skills
Encourage participant engagement and skill development
Collaborate with Employment Program staff and Food Services leadership

What You'll Bring

Experience working in kitchen, food service, caf, or hospitality environments
FoodSafe Level 1 certification (Level 2 is an asset)
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Experience training, mentoring, or coaching others is an asset
A passion for helping others develop skills and confidence

Lived & Living Experience

Compensation & Benefits

$28.50 per hour dependent on experience
