Location: Point Grey Private Hospital – Vancouver, BC
About Point Grey Private Hospital
Point Grey Private Hospital is a modern, purpose-built long-term care home offering 153 licensed residential care beds, primarily in private rooms.
Renovated and expanded in 2020, this four-story home features large windows, ocean and mountain views, and a comfortable, homelike atmosphere with dining and recreation areas and spacious outdoor patios on each floor.
What You'll Do

• Practices and maintains established standards for proper cleanliness and sanitation required by the Health Department.
• Cares for equipment, supplies and work areas and keeps equipment clean and safely stored.
• Reports defective and damaged equipment and furnishings.
• Keeps inventory in order.
• Replenishes supplies and understands the use and application of cleaning chemicals.
• Responds to building or resident emergencies. Calls 911 to report emergencies, and documents incidents.
• Participates in facility committees and training opportunities.

• Experience working in a care home, hotel/club kitchen
• Excellent Communication Skill by demonstrating tact, diplomacy, empathy and patience. Respect for confidentiality agreement.
• Proof of Vaccination
• Ability to take direction and learn procedures
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
• WHMIS certification.
