HVAC Technician

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Includes but not limited to replacing furnace/RTU filters, boiler annual maintenance and inspections of heating/cooling equipment, service calls, sump pump testing, and replacing batteries on thermostats
• Operate and maintain all mechanic equipment such as steam boilers, RTUs, compressors, generators, air conditioning equipment, and other HVAC related building equipment and systems.
• Daily, Weekly, Monthly inspections as required
• Clean and change filters as required
• Perform routine repair duties and service calls
• Clean, lubricate, and check belts, steam traps, and pumps
• Boiler maintenance
• Travel between sites

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Minimum Class B Gasfitter Certificate
• Class A and/or Red Seal preferred
• Independent and motivated
• strong communication and organizational skills
• ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Boiler installation and maintenance is an asset
• RTU service knowledge is a must
• Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
