Job Title: General Labour Assembly Worker

Duration: 06 months of Contract

Location: 8 Rouse Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 5W8

Pay Rate: $21 for 1st shift, $22.50 for 2nd shift (start and end times to be shared soon)

Position Summary:

Join our Assembly team and play a critical role in manufacturing by assembling products, parts, or components to create finished goods that meet rigorous quality standards. Temporary contracts run as early as next week through August or October, depending on your availability and background (student or non-student).

Who Should Apply?

Current students, recent graduates, or new immigrants with a Mechanical or Electrical degree.

Individuals with hands-on experience using hand and power tools (work, school, or hobby).

Candidates able to reliably commute to Tillsonburg, ON.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and follow work instructions, schematics, and technical documents.

Assemble products/components using hand and power tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, silicone guns).

Inspect, test, and package items to meet quality standards.

Work efficiently to meet production quotas and deadlines.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Follow all health and safety procedures and use required PPE.

Maintain tools/equipment and report any defects or safety concerns.

Skills, Education, and Experience

Mechanical or Electrical degree (current student, new grad, or new immigrant).

Hands-on experience with tools (formal work, school labs, or hobbies welcomed).

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to work in a team setting and independently.

Basic technical/computer skills preferred.

Experience in assembly or manufacturing an asset.

Job Conditions

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, lifting, reaching).

Factory/warehouse environment with exposure to noise and machinery.

Mandatory use of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.).
