Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for an Account Manager at our Toronto manufacturing plant. Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong relationship-building skills, experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a technical manufacturing environment. This role offers a competitive salary of $100,000+, based on experience.

Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the Account Manager you will be expected to:

  • Planning, implementing, managing and overseeing sales strategies for the Canadian market.
  • Generate new business prospects.
  • Create and present product presentations to current and prospective clients.
  • Execute new and current product proposals.
  • Communicate with all departments necessary to accomplish a sale.
  • Plan and prepare for all customer meetings.
  • Identify customer needs and forecast product/service demands.

Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within manufacturing, industrial products, or foam-related industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce or equivalent systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
