About the Role

This isn't a role where you wait for someone to tell you what to do. At Provident, our Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator is the single person responsible for keeping our entire technical operation moving, and they take that seriously.

You'll be the heartbeat of our warehouse: the person our technicians rely on to have the right equipment, kitted and ready, every single day. When something goes sideways a last-minute job change, a critical part that's hard to find, an emergency delivery across town you're the one who figures it out. Calmly. Resourcefully. Without being asked twice.

You'll report into our Finance team and work day-to-day with our field technicians and operations leadership. This role sits at the centre of our daily operations. When the warehouse runs well, our technicians are equipped and on time, projects stay on track, and clients stay happy. It traces back here.

A big part of this role is inventory intelligence. That means knowing not just what we have, but what we should have balancing readiness for upcoming client projects against the cost of carrying too much stock. You'll work with our purchasing and operational data to spot trends, anticipate needs, and adjust accordingly. This isn't an order-taking position. It rewards people who think carefully, pay close attention to the numbers, and take initiative when the data is telling them something.

We're in the final stages of opening our new facility on Bentley Street on Vancouver's west side. You'll be part of the team that shapes how we operate out of that space, contributing to the systems, organization, and workflows that will carry us forward.

What You'll Do

• Receive, process, and properly store all incoming equipment and materials
• Kit jobs for our technician team, ensuring every crew member leaves with exactly what they need, every time
• Manage inventory levels and reorder points for core stock items, coordinating with purchasing to prevent gaps
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and proactively flag delays before they become problems
• Source hard-to-find equipment creatively when standard supply channels fall short
• Process returns for restocking, recycling, or vendor credit
• Deliver emergency parts and equipment on-site when the job demands it
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, always
• Work collaboratively with the team to continuously improve warehouse systems and processes as we grow into our new facility

What We're Looking For

Non-negotiable:

• Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract
• Hands-on experience with inventory or warehouse management software we use inFlow, and familiarity with similar systems is essential
• Genuine comfort working independently as the sole person responsible for the warehouse

• Background in low-voltage, security systems, or trades supply

Compensation and Benefits

• $58,000 to $63,000 per year, based on experience
