Job Title: Trade & Pricing Analyst
Job Description

The Trade & Pricing Analyst is a full-time contingent role based in the Markham office, supporting the Trade & Pricing team in the execution of pricing, promotional, and customer-related commercial activities. You will work closely with cross-functional partners locally and internationally to administer pricing policies, support customer agreements, track promotional programs, analyze product launch pricing, and prepare financial reports that help drive net revenue growth. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional who can support daily trade and pricing operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of commercial programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of trade and pricing activities, including pricing updates, promotion administration, customer tracking, and post-event analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation, documentation, and tracking of customer agreements, approvals, and related commercial materials.
  • Support analysis of customer and program performance, including accrual tracking, rebate review, and financial reporting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for internal stakeholders, including monthly tracking and ad hoc analysis.
  • Assist in evaluating product launch pricing, promotional opportunities, and customer segmentation support.
  • Support the maintenance of trade and pricing systems, tools, and data validation activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare presentation materials, reports, and summaries for internal stakeholders and cross-functional meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, commercial procedures, and applicable local regulations in all trade and pricing activities.
  • Support audit inquiries, documentation requests, and archiving of trade and pricing materials.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Business Excellence, BTS, Account Setup, and other internal partners to support effective implementation of trade and pricing initiatives.
  • Provide support for internal training, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Trade & Pricing function.
  • Perform additional related duties and responsibilities as required to support evolving business needs.
Essential Skills
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret and analyze pricing, revenue, and promotional performance data.
  • Experience in financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and clarity for internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Ability to build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools, including experience with Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of pricing, promotions, rebates, and revenue management concepts.
  • Experience working with commercial operations, finance, or analytics in a business environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience supporting trade, pricing, or revenue management activities in a commercial setting.
  • Familiarity with promotional program tracking, rebate review, and accrual tracking.
  • Exposure to commercial operations and customer-related activities, including customer agreements and approvals.
  • Experience working with performance analytics and pricing optimization initiatives.
  • Ability to support audit inquiries and documentation requests in a structured and compliant manner.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with evolving priorities.
  • Interest in developing a career in pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics.
  • Experience collaborating with external stakeholders such as national accounts or healthcare stakeholders is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to process documentation, internal training, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Power BI proficiency or certification is considered an advantage.
Work Environment

This role is based in the Markham office in a hybrid work model, with three days in the office and two days remote each week; Tuesday through Thursday are mandatory in-office days. Core working hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break, for a total of 37.5 hours per week, and there is no regular overtime requirement. You will join a lean, collaborative pricing team focused on trade strategy, pricing optimization, and performance analytics, and you will work closely with teams such as Account Setup and Customer Service, as well as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Business Excellence, and BTS. The environment is fast-paced and data-driven, offering significant exposure to both local and global trade and pricing teams, as well as key external partners. The dress code is standard business casual suitable for an office setting.
