Lead Carpenter

As our new Lead Carpenter, your responsibilities will include: * Completing carpentry work on our job sites from start to finish, including trim, framing, and drywall * Reviewing job plans, documents, and checklists pre-construction and coordinating materials and resources needed to complete jobs * Building per drawing and project plan specifications * Directing and delegating work to other on-site labourers for timely completion of projects * Maintaining highest quality of workmanship and safety standards on-site * Site clean up Working with CCR Building and Remodeling We're a friendly, family-oriented team. Qualifications * 5+ years carpentry experience, with experience in the remodeling trades * Experience supervising/managing renovation projects * Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and layouts * Valid driver's license and good driving record * Basic carpentry tools (hand tools, skill saw, levels, squares, drills, hammer drill, nailers, ladders) * Completion of any of the following certifications/training is an asset: fall arrest, WHMIS, first aid * Red Seal Carpentry certification is a plus but not required We're looking for a responsible leader – someone with excellent attention to detail, who will take ownership of our projects, and who our customers can trust to do the right thing.
