Leader Technician - Assembly (3 months contract)

The Leader Tech is responsible for supporting the Supervisors and Management of TG Minto by following all TG Minto policies and procedures and leading by example at all times. He/ She will work closely with the assigned supervisor and assist with directing employees. Flexible work hours will be necessary. There is a six-month probationary period for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.

• Meet hourly production quotas.

• Document daily production.

• Operate all assembly stations.

• Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.

• Ability to train FTMs.

• Understand and follow the Kanban system.

• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.

• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or—successful completion of an aptitude test

• You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing on Afternoon Shift (4:30 pm to 1:00 am) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
