Job Description:
Our member company is looking for a hardworking 309A Licensed Electrician, based in the Ottawa, ON, region to join their growing team.
Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified Electrical Journeyperson
• Minimum 2+ years of experience
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in commercial and residential electrical work
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and in compliance with regulations
• Reliable and dependable (punctual and ready to work)
• Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all work complies with ESA regulations and local building codes
• Lay out, assemble, install, repair, maintain, connect, and test electrical systems
• Plan installations from blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Install electrical devices and components
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits and other electrical conductor raceways
• Splice and terminate electrical conductors
• Test electrical and electronic equipment to ensure proper operation

Work Environment

• Commercial and residential job sites
• Combination of independent and team-based work
