Fuel Advisor
Our client is seeking a Fuel Advisor to drive new business development and manage client relationships through a structured, data‑driven sales approach. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of existing clients, and ensuring all sales activities are executed with consistency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring experience in B2B or industrial sales, a highly organized and detail‑oriented approach, and the ability to follow structured processes to achieve results.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals, network development, and inbound inquiries
  • Conduct thorough discovery to understand customer requirements, operations, and constraints before recommending solutions
  • Collect, validate, and document customer data accurately within CRM systems
  • Progress opportunities through clearly defined sales stages with discipline and accuracy
  • Prepare and present solutions only after proper discovery, validation, and internal alignment
  • Maintain a well‑organized pipeline with clear next steps and timelines
  • Convert qualified prospects into long‑term customers through consistent follow‑up
  • Manage and support an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring strong relationships and service delivery
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients to address needs and identify growth opportunities
  • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities based on customer usage and trends
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure effective execution and issue resolution
  • Maintain strong knowledge of fuel products, pricing structures, and delivery models
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all customer interactions and activities
  • Monitor market conditions and competitor activity to support informed decision‑making
  • Participate in regular meetings and reporting cycles with accurate and reliable data
Your strengths include:
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B, industrial, or energy‑related sales or account management
  • Experience working within structured sales processes and defined sales stages
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on documentation and accuracy
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data before making recommendations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline‑driven environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and cross‑functional communication abilities
  • Proactive approach with strong follow‑through and accountability
