TLE Law is a boutique law firm located in downtown Edmonton specializing in Aboriginal Law. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our team on a casual basis (1 to 3 days per week). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate filings and compliance and will play a key role in supporting our legal team with corporate transactions and documentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation and filing of corporate documents including incorporations, amendments, dissolutions, and annual returns.
- Maintenance of corporate records and minute books.
- Conduction of due diligence and corporate searches.
- Assistance with drafting resolutions, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Liaising with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable corporate legislation and regulations.
Qualifications:
- CORES Level 3 certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a corporate paralegal.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Paralegal Diploma is considered an asset.
Salary will be paid commensurate with experience and qualifications.
