Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting Construction / Demolition Labourers w/ Fall Protection for a long-term commercial project located in Uptown Saint John, NB. This is a great opportunity for reliable candidates with construction or demolition experience who are comfortable working in an active job site environment.
Job Duties
- Candidates will be responsible for removing and disposing o building infrastructure and demolition materials, HVAC components, Piping, Flooring, Ceiling tiles, Doors, Millwork
- Additional responsibilities may include:
- General site clean-up
- Material handling and disposal
- Assisting skilled trades on site
- Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Rate of Pay
- $18.00 – $22.00/hour, depending on experience
- Long-term project (approximately 2 – 2.5 months)
Work Site & Schedule
- Location: Uptown Saint John, NB
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekend work available
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or demolition
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Physically fit and capable of lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Valid Fall Protection certification (required)
- WHMIS certification (will provide)
- Skidsteer operating experience considered an asset (One experienced operator may be required for the project)
PPE Requirements
- Dress Code: Casual attire appropriate for construction and demolition work
Candidates must have: - CSA-approved steel-toed boots
- CSA-approved hard hat
- High-visibility safety vest
- Safety glasses
