Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Repair: Efficiently troubleshoot and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Customer Service: Provide clear explanations of repairs and maintenance to service advisors and customers when needed.
  • Maintain Work Area: Keep your workspace organized and tools maintained.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all dealership and industry safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Licensing: Must hold a valid NS Driver's License, Can provide a current clean Driver's Abstract
  • Designation: Completion of at least 2nd year Apprenticeship training is required. Advanced apprenticeship standing (3rd or 4th year), Motor Vehicle Inspection (MVI) License or Red Seal Certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience: Previous dealership experience is an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
  • Attention to Detail: High standard for accuracy in repairs and customer service.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
