- Program, set up, and operate CNC vertical milling and Horizontal milling centers.
- Use GibbsCam to develop efficient tool paths and machining and fixturing strategies.
- Machine parts from a range of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, titanium, plastics, brass and many more.
- Inspect machined parts against technical drawings recording measurements in ERP.
- Produce detailed setup instructions for first time setups inside ProShop ERP.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and machine.
- Perform basic machine maintenance.
- Ability to work in a team environment to support other machinists and operators.
- Minimum 5 years of CNC milling Programing and Setting experience.
- Experience working with tight tolerances (microns to 5 thou).
- Experience working with a range of materials (aluminum, mild steel, stainless, exotics).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork.
- Ideal candidates will have experience with, or be willing to learn Gibbscam.
