We are currently seeking a Hotel Room Attendant to join our opening team at Skye Hotel.

Key Responsibilities

As a Hotel Room Attendant, you will play a key role in creating lasting first impressions and ensuring every guest room is clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

  • Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms and public areas

  • Make beds, change linens, and remove soiled towels and garbage

  • Vacuum, dust, and clean furniture, bathrooms, and surfaces

  • Replenish guest supplies and amenities in rooms

  • Follow detailed cleaning standards for stayover and checkout rooms

  • Report maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas

  • Record completed rooms using mobile or tracking systems

  • Communicate guest requests or concerns to housekeeping leadership

  • Handle lost and found items following hotel procedures

  • Support deep cleaning projects when required

  • Follow all health, safety, and hotel policies and procedures

  • Work weekends, holidays, and scheduled shifts

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • High attention to detail and cleanliness standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable, responsible, and guest-focused attitude

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Constant standing and walking during shifts

  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

  • Regular bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling

  • Ability to climb stairs and work on feet for long periods

Additional Requirements

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
