Experienced Welder Fitter

We are currently recruiting for a person interested in a long term position in a fast paced environment. The selected candidate must be able to work with a team and independently. You will be working in a full-service custom metal fabrication facility. From engineering to finished product, you could be rolling, welding, forming and blasting. You could also be cutting, shearing, punching and drilling. All projects are based on each customer's needs. This is a CWB shop, tickets are not required, but can be obtained. Must Haves: -Experience with custom fabrication -Ability to adjust to customer requirements -Strong knowledge of blueprint reading skills (shop or engineered drawings) -Strong knowledge of fit-up procedures -Strong knowledge of fitting small and large weldments using layout tools and fixtures -Strong knowledge of weld symbols, using CWB procedures -Read and understand measuring instruments (ie tape measure, square, level etc) -Knowledgeable to detect weld defects and non-conforming parts -Know how to operate and set up MIG/TIG welding equipment for steel, stainless and aluminum Beneficial experience: -Saw cutting operation -Pipe bender operation -Welding (SMAW) -Cutting torches/ hand held plasma -Experience maintaining industrial equipment -Fork truck operation -Overhead crane operation Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 7am - 3:30pm Compensation: $30/hr - $35/hr To apply, please call Liberty Staffing at 519-539-7961 and reference job 454685 Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
