Breakaway Executive Search is seeking an experienced Non-Asset Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for our client, an established Warehousing company, in Mississauga, ON. The ideal candidate is a high-performing sales professional with a strong network of shippers, a proven ability to generate new business, and a deep understanding of third-party logistics and brokerage operations. Salary: $80,000/year + commission Responsibilities: - Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within targeted industries and shipping segments - Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, supply chain managers, and logistics decision-makers - Develop customized transportation and logistics solutions using our non-asset carrier network - Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closing - Collaborate with operations and carrier procurement teams to ensure seamless service execution - Maintain accurate pipeline and sales activity tracking in CRM systems - Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets - Stay informed on market trends, freight rates, and competitive landscape - Other duties as required Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in transportation brokerage, freight forwarding, or third-party logistics (3PL) sales - Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets - Strong network within Canadian or North American shipping markets - Deep understanding of truckload, LTL, intermodal, and cross-border freight solutions - Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills - Self-motivated with strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently and drive results If you're a results-driven logistics sales professional looking to grow your career in a high-impact role, we encourage you to apply today.
