We are currently hiring for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a high-precision machine shop serving the aerospace industry. Requirements -Set up from scratch, design fixtures, program, and operate CNC lathes, mills, and 5-axis machining centers -Work on multiple and complex parts in a high-precision, tight-tolerance environment -Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GDT, and CAD files -Program CNC machines using Mastercam software -Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met -Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other inspection equipment -Document work in accordance with AS9100D quality management system requirements -Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed -Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment -Follow all safety procedures and company policies -Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area -Show a strong interest in CNC machining and a willingness to learn different machines and processes *SET UP FROM SCRATCH IS A MUST* Requirements: Key Responsibilities -Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes, mills, and 5-axis machining centers -Work on multiple and complex parts in a high-precision, tight-tolerance environment -Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GDT, and CAD files -Program CNC machines using Mastercam software -Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met -Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other inspection equipment -Document work in accordance with AS9100D quality management system requirements -Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed -Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment -Follow all safety procedures and company policies -Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area -Show a strong interest in CNC machining and a willingness to learn different machines and processes -Familiarity with ISO standards Qualifications: Qualifications -4 to 6 years of CNC machining experience -Strong experience programming and operating CNC lathes and mills -Experience with 5-axis machining is preferred -Experience with Mastercam software -Strong understanding of GDT and the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints -Experience working with metal and hard plastic materials -Familiarity with aerospace quality standards, including AS9100, is an asset -Strong attention to detail and quality control skills -Excellent problem-solving abilities -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Enthusiastic about CNC machining and open to learning different machines Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
