Perform General Maintenance Repair and service tow trucks and automobiles, and/or buses, trucks in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; perform daily equipment inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions. Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance of equipment at our head office shop. Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of trucks Fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, engine control systems, vehicle break systems, etc. Repairing, maintaining, and servicing our fleet of trucks Highly motivated individual and ability to work in a fast paced work environment with shifting priorities and perform duties Strong attention to detail, quick learner, and the ability to adapt to varying situations Communicate with drivers and provide efficient service Maintain tools, equipment and shop manuals in a satisfactory manner Ensure clear, accurate written documentation of all repairs Uses personal protective equipment and exercises precautions to mitigate risks associated with chemicals, diesel fuel emissions, noise, moving objects, and hazardous materials.
