We are recruiting for a current opening for a Mold Maker on behalf of our client · Set up, operate, maintain machine tools (e.g. CNC mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses) to shape and assemble mold components · Interpret and work from technical blueprints, CAD models, and design specifications to plan mold fabrication · Disassemble, clean, inspect, and repair existing molds and tooling, performing corrective adjustments as needed · Perform regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure molds meet tolerances · Document fabrication and maintenance activities, maintain mold inventories, and update repair histories · Uphold workplace safety and housekeeping standards, adhering to health, safety, and operational procedures To be successful in this role, you'll need: · 3+ years of hands-on-experience in mold-making, tool and die work, or mold maintenance roles. · Post Secondary Education in Tool Die Making, Precision Machining, CAD/Tool Design or related field · Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or certification program Things we consider a plus: · Practical experience in diagnosing mold defects, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting · Prior work in a manufacturing setting, repairing and optimizing injections molds · Deep understanding of mold-making processes Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
