Our client in Cambridge looking for a Brake Press Operator to join their fabrication shop team on their day shift. The working hours for this permanent full-time position are 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Successful applicants will have superior work ethics, excellent time management skills and a positive attitude; must be capable of working alone or in a team environment and committed to safe work practices. BRAKE PRESS RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operation of Accurpress and Durma CNC brake press Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings Ability to program single or multiple bend parts Measure products for correct dimensions, bend angles and other specifications Adhere to Health and Safety Policies and Procedures Demonstrated ability to have an excellent attention to detail and be quality focused Meet shift objectives by ensuring efficient and safe operations BRAKE PRESS QUALIFICATIONS: Experience operating CNC brake press - minimum 2 years preferred Strong math and problem solving skills Must be capable of working with imperial metric dimensions Ability to bend, crouch and lift items up to 50 lbs.
