Warehouse Associate/ Forklift Driver

We are hiring an experienced warehouse worker with forklift experience for our client based in Orangeville.
Warehouse:

Packaging and producing products in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift and walk/stand for the majority of the shift.

Forklift:

You will operate a counterbalance forklift to pick up materials. Must be able to operate the forklift and maneuver in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently organizes and maintains the storage area.
• Accurately load and unload products
• Maintained a clean working environment.
• Ensure all work is performed safely.
• Attention to detail and able to load materials in a cart in preparation for loader position to load onto flatbed trailers for safe transport.
• Ensure that products are damage-free
• Assists in other warehouse functions as needed.
• Work in other areas or projects as assigned.
• Any other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
  Required Qualifications;
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must be detail-oriented and precise, and operate a forklift in tight spaces.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to read and write English fluently

Working Hours

12-hour continental (2 days on 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on , 3 days off)

Day- 6:45 am to 7 pm

Nights- 6:45 pm to 7 am

Pay rate: 21 an hour
