Logistics Coordinator As our new logistics coordinator, you'll be an essential part of our team, handling all our shipping and receiving duties, as well as providing logistics and administrative support to the service department. This position calls for a problem solver who is detail-oriented, loves a challenge, has terrific communication skills and who can handle multiple competing priorities. You'll play a key role in ensuring that all logistical details are communicated across multiple departments, so nothing slips through the cracks. We are a small team that understands that everything is everyone's job, so when you're not working on shipments, or helping with receiving, you'll take care of all logistics for our service department, including preparing shipping documents, tracking, and updating service tickets. On a practical level, you'll perform the following tasks: * Coordinate and track all shipments, and supply BOL's and any other required shipping paperwork * Ensure proper paperwork is completed by the team and provided to all parties such as Custom Brokers, Transportation Companies and Accounting Department * Determine best shipping procedures, rates, and routes * Track and update service tickets, as well as incoming and outgoing shipments * Prepare dangerous goods documentation, quotes, and purchase orders * Provide weekly service and shipping/receiving updates to the leadership team.
