In addition to day-to-day shift management and administration, General Managers are responsible for:
- Providing overall leadership, establishing a sense of urgency, being a role model for the team
- Working “hands-on” with the team
- Maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness and food safety
- Demonstrating a “guest first” approach always
- Hiring and training their staff
- Promoting their operation in the local market
- Coordinating in-store promotions
- Developing and meeting financial plans

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous Management experience in the hospitality industry
- Passion for service and commitment to quality
- Excellent comprehension of restaurant operational controls and financial statements
- A thorough understanding of Food Safe and WorkSafe requirements
- A proven record of training and developing a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, high energy and enthusiasm
