Ridall Pest Control, a trusted name in pest management since 1989, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering effective, eco-friendly pest control solutions to our residential and commercial clients.

Position Overview

As a Service Technician, you will be the frontline representative of Ridall Pest Control, responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing appropriate treatment plans. Your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and comfort of our clients by maintaining pest-free environments. Every day will be different for you as you drive one of our company vehicles throughout the Lower Mainland to help our existing and potential customers live and/or work in a pest free environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of residential, commercial, and high-end properties throughout the Lower Mainland.
• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest infestations.
• Develop and implement effective pest control treatment plans.
• Apply products and other pest control methods safely and in accordance with regulations.
• Install exclusion devices to provide long-term pest protection for our clients.
• Educate clients on preventive measures and pest management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used using our industry specific mobile software.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Fluent in English.
• Caring, hardworking, responsible and have a willingness to learn.
• Must have a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work with various types of tools and equipment.
• Comfortable working independently and making recommendations onsite.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Applicants must be physically fit.
