Do you have a passion for training, coaching and managing Telecommunication Sales Representatives, and Sales Managers in a retail-driven environment? If yes, we are hiring a Field Sales Manager to represent our client, TELUS, one of Canada's largest telecommunication companies, and build a team of Telecommunication Sales Representatives. We are looking for a Mandarin speaking Field Sales Manager who brings that special combination of relationship building, driving for results, and process development to help grow some of our Event Sales program with well-known customers. You should be skilled in being a player/coach, and leader with a consultative approach.

We are looking for an experienced manager who truly knows and understands how to build a team, coach and provide ongoing mentorship for Sales Representatives!

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Telecommunication product knowledge sessions
  • Training Telecommunication Sales Representatives in a retail environment
  • Delivering results through executing against goals (often through getting out in the field yourself and understanding barriers faced by field reps so you can come up with solutions that will drive sales
  • Collaborate with our sales Team leaders to train and coach their sales teams on both product in a fun and engaging way
  • Proactively identifying issues that may arise and working to quickly find a winning resolution through problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity
  • Acting with integrity and partnering with our sales force to help them deliver a high level of sales quality
  • Communicating clearly and effectively across a diverse range of Sales team
  • Driving sales team performance, meeting client and campaign goals for profitability and growth in a way that grows relationships and trust
  • Providing regular feedback to management on the status of sales offices and action plan updates
  • This role requires you to be outstanding at building relationships and getting field sales excited about delivering team results and influencing the Sales team to make adjustments to strategies and tactics that will facilitate those sales.
  • Strong judgment and business acumen. Knowing when to take action, when to escalate things, and having a sixth sense for assessing business risk and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Mandarin Speaker required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable car to travel across the GTA for training and coaching field teams
  • Bachelor's degree in related field/equivalent work experience
  • Driving License with a Car is mandatory
  • 5+ years leading direct or indirect field sales teams in B2C environments
  • Highly adaptable and agile to changing and ambiguous situations
  • Hours typically Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Passion, Edge, Energy, Execution, and Charisma
  • Proven Student Mentality
  • Proficient with Microsoft office

Working Conditions:

  • This is not a remote position and required to be traveling across GTA to train and coach the Sales team in the field.
  • Evening and weekend work is required due to the working hours of Retail stores.
