Shipper Receiver - Certified Forklift Operator

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a reliable, hardworking Shipper & Receiver / Forklift Operator to join our team in Surrey.

Position Summary: In this role, you will handle incoming and outgoing inventory, move large products, and prepare orders. Extensive outdoor forklift experience is crucial for this position. Please note that we utilize manual, non-electronic processes for order picking and receiving; therefore, strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly memorize SKUs are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate an outdoor sit-down counterbalance forklift to move/stack crates and load/unload 22-foot long pipes.
• Shipping & Receiving: Accurately pick, pack, and receive orders manually (without electronic scanners) by learning and identifying product SKUs.
• Inventory & Paperwork: Complete shipping/receiving paperwork accurately and clearly in English.
• Yard & Warehouse Maintenance: Work comfortably outdoors in various weather conditions to organize products and maintain a clean yard.
• Team Collaboration: Follow directions closely and collaborate effectively with teammates to meet daily shipping goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certification: Valid Class 5 Sit-down Counterbalance Forklift Certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience (preferred).
• Physical Fitness: Ability to regularly lift 50–60 lbs. and stay active throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Skills: Strong mathematical/analytical skills, highly organized, and calm under pressure.
• Language: Full professional proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is necessary for paperwork and team communication.
• Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Commute: Must be able to reliably commute to our Surrey, BC location.
