Job Summary

Our client, a growing manufacturer within the specialized electronics manufacturing sector, is seeking a Machinist to support the production of precision-machined components used within custom technical assemblies. This role will focus on machining plastic and other specialized components using mills and related equipment while supporting day-to-day production requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail, precision machining experience, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.

The Role:

• Operate milling machines and related machining equipment to manufacture precision components
• Machine and modify plastic and specialized material components used within technical assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications
• Perform machine setup, measurements, inspections, and adjustments to ensure product quality and accuracy
• Support prototype, custom, and low-volume production work as required
• Maintain tooling, equipment, and work areas in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with production and technical teams to support manufacturing timelines and continuous improvement efforts
• Inspect finished components to verify tolerances and quality standards are achieved
• Assist with process improvements related to machining efficiency and quality consistency

The Ideal Candidate:

• Machinist trade certification or equivalent hands-on machining experience
• Experience operating mills and machining precision components within a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable machining plastics and other specialized materials
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, tolerances, and precision measurement tools
• Experience with both manual and CNC equipment is considered an asset
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing within a collaborative production environment
• Reliable, adaptable, and motivated to support a growing manufacturing operation
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic are highly valued within the team culture
