Join Our Team as a Field Supervisor - Building Manager!

Are you a reliable and detail-oriented professional with experience in both cleaning and building operations? We are looking for a versatile team member who can deliver high-quality janitorial services while also stepping in as a Relief Building Manager when needed. If you take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well-managed environments and enjoy a dynamic role with variety, we'd love to hear from you!

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of janitorial staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect the quality of work and address any issues or concerns.
  • Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Provide coverage for relief shifts as needed, stepping in to perform janitorial / building manager duties and oversee operations when regular staff members are absent.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working in various locations and buildings as per company needs.
  • Perform daily janitorial cleaning duties / building manager duties ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Monitor building operations and report maintenance issues as needed.
  • Provide relief coverage for Building Manager duties during absences (vacation, sick leave, etc.).
  • Oversee building operations during relief shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality.
  • Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and management when acting as Building Manager.
  • Conduct basic inspections and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in janitorial or facilities management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (candidate must have a vehicle).
  • Willingness to work weekends in addition to Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and different shifts when needed.

Salary Details:
The salary for this position $48 000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, the candidate will receive a monthly gas allowance provided in accordance with CRA guidelines.   • Tuesday Saturday or Sunday Thursday

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of janitorial/cleaning experience (required).

Minimum 1 year of Building Manager / Caretaker experience (required).
