The Role

As a Commissioning Coordinator, you will support the delivery of commissioning services to ensure building systems are designed, installed, and operating in accordance with project requirements and owner expectations.

You will play a key role in quality assurance across projectsworking closely with internal teams, clients, and contractors to gather data, verify system performance, and contribute to successful project outcomes.

What Youll Be Doing
Project Delivery & Commissioning Support

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of commissioning projects
  • Collect, document, and report commissioning data across multiple projects
  • Develop and maintain commissioning checklists, procedures, and documentation
  • Assemble and analyze field data, providing clear and value-added reporting
  • Support troubleshooting and diagnostics of building systems

Site Work & Field Coordination

  • Attend construction sites to verify installations meet design intent
  • Perform site reviews, audits, and data collection
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to gather project information
  • Support system verification and performance testing activities

Project Coordination & Administration

  • Assist in preparing proposals, fee letters, and additional service requests
  • Maintain organized project documentation, reports, and correspondence
  • Manage time and workload to meet project deadlines and budgets
  • Track and forecast workload to support efficient project delivery

Team Collaboration & Growth

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support project success
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment
  • Take initiative in professional development and training opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement of commissioning processes and tools

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in engineering, building sciences, or a related technical field
  • Commissioning experience is an asset
  • Strong understanding of building systems, particularly HVAC&R
  • Knowledge of building codes and standards (ASHRAE, LEED, etc.) is an asset
  • Excellent organizational, reporting, and documentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data tracking/reporting tools is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to travel within the GTA, across Ontario, and occasionally out of province
  • Ability to attend construction sites and access mechanical/service areas
  • Ability to obtain government security clearance (if required)
