We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Sous Chef to join our busy and elegant restaurant and wedding venue. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, able to manage a small team, and coordinate catering for various events including weddings. This role requires flexibility to work both weekdays and partial weekends, with a focus on delivering high-quality food and excellent service in a traditional kitchen setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee food production ensuring quality and consistency
- Plan and adapt menus to suit event requirements and seasonal availability
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate effectively with a small kitchen team of 1-5 members
- Coordinate catering services for weddings and mixed event types
- Manage time efficiently to meet service deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety management
