Job Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. Either onsite or at client visits.
Compensation:
- $75,000 to $85,000 base salary
- Monthly, uncapped profit-sharing payout

- Proactively identify and pursue new business prospects for company.
- Follow-up on sales referrals received from all sources.
- Maintain diligent reporting as required in software.
- Ensure all pricing is correct and inputted in a timely manner into the ERP.
- Provide a weekly summary of wins, losses, concerns and future plans.
- Attend and present at meetings and industry networking events.
- Support General Managers in the development, communication and implementation of the company's strategic business development.
- Implement account management strategies for current and potential customers to ensure loyalty and sales growth.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure client service needs are communicated and service levels are consistent with the company's service standards.
- Supports the strong customer service culture within the commercial procurement team to model and foster the company's customer service culture throughout the organization.
- 5+ years of successful achievement in sales/account management roles in the waste recycling industry or comparable service-oriented heavy industry, ideally in Alberta, British Columbia and/or Pacific Northwest
- Post secondary education in business, marketing, or sales, or equivalent experience
- MS Office and some CRM exposure is an asset
- Driven, hardworking team player
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug/alcohol testing
