Driver Manager / Driver Trainer (Flatbed) Mississauga, ON | Full-Time | On-Site About the Role We are looking for someone who has been in the seat and understands the job. If you have a background in flatbed driving, know your way around straps and chains, and have hands-on driver training experience, this could be a great fit. This is a hands-on role working directly with drivers every day. It is about supporting drivers, training them properly, and building a team that runs safe and runs well. This is a full-time Driver Safety Manager/Recruiter role based in Brampton, ON, with on-site responsibilities and direct work with drivers.
The role requires a valid AZ license with real flatbed experience, hands-on driver training experience, and strong knowledge of strapping, chaining, securement, HOS, safety regulations, and ELDs.
You will work directly with drivers daily, train them on load securement, safety, and ELDs, onboard new drivers, set expectations, review incidents, and follow up to focus on learning and improvement.
You will be the link between drivers and management, de-escalate situations, ensure drivers are set up for success, and use camera reviews to walk through situations with drivers.
This is an on-site, hands-on role working directly with drivers, focusing on training, support, and building a safe, well-running driver team.
