We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) Site Supervisor to lead our team and ensure excellence in childcare programming and centre operations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with CCEYA regulations and maintain all licensing requirements.
Maintain accurate records and documentation through CCLS and centre systems.
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs that support children's learning and development.
Develop daily schedules that include indoor, outdoor, quiet, and active learning experiences.
Maintain a consistent and effective approach to child guidance in accordance with the Behaviour Management Policy.
Ensure activity centres are safe, organized, and properly equipped.
Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, attendance, medication logs, and child observations.
Conduct daily health checks, record illnesses, and communicate with parents as needed.
Support children with daily routines including meals, toileting, rest time, and learning activities.
Ensure children receive healthy and nutritious meals and snacks.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to assistant educators and staff.
Maintain professional communication with families, staff, and management.
Attend staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
Ensure children are dressed appropriately for indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Qualifications
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) and in good standing with the College of ECE.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the childcare field.
Previous experience as Assistant Supervisor or Supervisor is an asset.
Strong knowledge of CCEYA regulations and childcare licensing requirements.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and general computer use.
