We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Crew Lead to join our growing team on projects in the Saskatoon region. This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone who leads by example, works alongside their crew, and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality work.

Reporting to the Site Superintendent / Foreman, the successful candidate will help oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate crews and materials, and support the successful completion of concrete and formwork projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead crews of carpenters and labourers in daily site activities
  • Support the Foreman/Superintendent with coordination of work and crew supervision
  • Assist with planning work activities and maintaining project schedules
  • Oversee concrete formwork installation and removal to meet project specifications
  • Coordinate labour, materials, tools, and equipment to keep work progressing efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout information
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Enforce company safety policies, OH&S regulations, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Conduct toolbox talks and assist with daily paperwork and reporting
  • Mentor and support apprentices and newer workers on site
  • Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Communicate professionally with site management, clients, subcontractors, and other trades
  • Perform other duties as assigned by site supervision

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Journeyperson Carpenter certification or equivalent field experience considered an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of carpentry and concrete formwork experience
  • Previous leadership experience as a Lead Hand or Foreman preferred
  • Strong knowledge of concrete formwork systems and construction practices
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand site layout requirements
  • Experience using power tools and construction equipment safely
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
