The Role
Accurate is on the hunt for aStrategic Account Manager to join our Client Services team! This is a full-time, permanent positionfor someone who thrives at the intersection of relationships, strategy, and results. In addition to the base salary, this position includes quarterly performance-based bonuses. In this role, you own the full relationship and success of an assigned portfolio of clients.Yourenot just managing accounts.Yourebuilding trusted partnerships, guiding clients through long-term IT strategy, and driving meaningful growth. You understand your clients businesses deeply, show up proactively, and bring AccurateNetworksfull value to every conversation.
You will work closely with Service Delivery, Projects, Procurement, and Sales to ensure every client receives a seamless, high-quality experience, andthat opportunitiesareidentified, documented, and converted with discipline and momentum.
Core Accountabilities
Client Relationship Management
- Own the full relationship and success of every client in your portfolio by deeply understanding their business goals, challenges, and growth direction.
- Initiate at least one meaningful touchpoint per client per month; lower-frequency clients receive a minimum of one formal touchpoint per quarter.
- Position Accurate Networks as the strategic technology partner for every client. Know their business, not just their IT environment.
Strategic Planning & QBRs
- Deliver structured engagement through two tracks: Customer Journey clients (IT Roadmap, Critical Risk Reviews, QBRs, annual budget planning, project pipeline) and Managed Services clients (regular QBRs, Project Charter, IT planning, opportunity tracking).
- Ensure every client has a documented IT direction, an activebudgetconversation, and clarity on how technology supports their goals.
- Run QBRs as decision-focused sessions with documented decisions, commitments, and next steps; not status updates.
Opportunity Ownership & Revenue Growth
- Own every opportunity in your portfolio (strategic projects, procurement, IMAC requests), logged and advanced in Autotask withaccuratestatus, probability, and timeline.
- Present recommendations with confidence, guide clients toward the right investments, and sustain an opportunity-to-project conversion rate of at least 80%.
- Track project delivery from approval through completion;identifyrisks early and drive course correction before the client feels the impact.
CRM Discipline & Autotask Accountability
- Autotask is thesingle sourceof truth. Every interaction, meeting, note, and opportunity must be documented completely and kept current.
- Maintain zero overdue tickets and update client notes promptly so leadership can understand the status of any account at a glance.
Issue Escalation & Cross-Functional Delivery
- Act as the clients internal champion. Catch and resolve issues before they become complaints; serve as the primary liaison between the client and all internal teams.
- Communicateclient needs, opportunities, and risks proactively across Service Delivery, Projects, and Sales. Participate in project handoffs and delivery updates.
- Surface client stories, testimonials, and event opportunities for marketing; bring current client insights and pipeline status to internal meetings.
The Qualifications
Youllbe a great fit for this role if you have the following traits and qualifications:
- You have 3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or a relationship-driven sales role, ideally in a B2B technology or MSP environment.
- You build trust quickly and naturally with clients at the executive and decision-maker level; people feel heard, valued, and well-guided in your presence.
- You think and communicate strategically, translating business goals into technology decisions and presenting recommendations with confidence and clarity.
- You are disciplined and organized with CRM tools; your pipeline is always current, your notes are thorough, and your follow-through is consistent.
- Youreproactive by default. Youinitiatetouchpoints, surface risks early, anddontwait for a client to tell you something is wrong.
- You collaborate well across teams and can work cross-functionally with Service Delivery, Projects, Procurement, and Sales without losing the thread of the client experience.
- You have a strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and technology strategy, with enough depth to hold a credible, confident conversation with a client about their IT environment and roadmap.
