What is Just Simcoe Express?

Just Simcoe Express is the delivery arm of JustSimcoe.ca. It powers our fast, free same-day delivery service across Simcoe County, ensuring customers receive their local purchases quickly and reliably. Drivers are the final, essential step in connecting local businesses to their customers — right to their door.

Position Overview

This is a flexible, on-demand contract driver position. Route availability, start times, and shift durations can vary day-to-day based on delivery demand. Drivers must be comfortable with a flexible schedule and short-notice opportunities.

We provide a minimum of 2 hours' notice before available routes begin.

Compensation

• $30 per hour for all active driving and delivery time
• Route lengths and delivery windows will vary depending on operational needs
• We also reimburse drivers for return travel time from their final delivery location back to Barrie
  

This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible, supplemental income with the ability to accept delivery routes as they become available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages, floral arrangements, and other local goods
• Ensure timely, safe, and professional deliveries
• Communicate clearly with dispatch/team when needed
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and reliability
• Represent Just Simcoe Express professionally in the community
  

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must have your own vehicle
• Must carry appropriate insurance suitable for delivery/commercial use
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently
