The Opportunity
We'reseeking a Pipelayer to join our team in the Okanagan, supporting civil construction projects across the region.
As a Pipelayer,youllwork alongside a skilled crew in the field to deliver high-quality work. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building their skills, working outdoors, and being part of projects that shape communities.
Although we are a union affiliated organization, being an active member is not a prerequisite.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform all work safely in line with company policies andWorkSafeBCstandards.
- Complete jobs to the required specifications and quality standards.
- Keep all tools and equipment clean,maintained, and in good workingcondition.
- Rig and hoist pipe sections safely, ensuring propersecuringand support.
- Install various pipe systems, including water mains, sanitary sewers, storm drains, etc.
- Assistin trench preparation and gradingboth manual labor and in coordination with equipment operators.
- Install and assemblemanholesand catch basins.
- Work independently and within a team, taking ownership of tasks without constant supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times.
- Attend and activelyparticipatein daily and weekly site meetings.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- 1-3yearsCivil Construction experience.
- Willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment.
- Positive attitude and strong workethic.
- Proven ability to work effectively and safely in a team environment.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project demands.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance.
- Valid Canadian drivers license with a clean abstractrequired.
- First Aid Traininganasset.

- Union hourly rate: $38.60$40.53 per hour.
