Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Garde Mange/Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essenthe or delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Cook menu items accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain the cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely meal delivery
  • Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment for all staff

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Knowledge of meal preparation and presentation standards preferred
  • Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable for success in this role
