DBNC Capital needs someone who likes turning messy borrower files into clean, current, actionable files.

This is a hands-on ownership role in our private mortgage lending business. You will track active deals, verify key file items with third parties where possible, chase borrowers and service providers, and help solve the issues that increase default risk or slow down bank refinancing.

Our broader family business spans real estate, storage, brokerage, hospitality, and lending. We have been around for decades, we are still growing, and the culture is personal, direct, and collaborative. This is not a corporate role where your work disappears into layers. You will work close to the people making decisions, and your follow-through will directly affect risk, cash flow, and refinance outcomes.

What You'll Own

  • Keep active private lending files current and organized.
  • Track property taxes, insurance, first mortgage payments, CRA/HST items, liens, writs, judgments, PIN/title alerts, credit issues, tax filings, and refinance blockers.
  • Verify information with third parties where possible: cities, insurers, first mortgage lenders, lawyers, accountants, CRA-facing contacts, monitoring tools.
  • Chase borrowers, lenders, insurers, lawyers, municipalities, and other parties until issues move.
  • Maintain a clear tracker showing clean files, watchlist files, urgent blockers, next actions, deadlines, and follow-up history.
  • Report portfolio status to the manager on a regular cadence.
  • Help move refinance-ready files forward by clearing fixable problems.

Location PerksOur office is at 3660 Hurontario Street in Mississauga, right off the 403, with free parking and easy commutes from Oakville, Brampton, Etobicoke, and Toronto. Remote may also work for the right person.
