Accounting Technician

We are a fast-growing cloud-based firm based in Ontario that helps small and medium-sized businesses make better financial and management decisions. We're looking for an Accounting Technician to join our team.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience in public practice who has a proven ability to:

• Multitask, organize, and prioritize workload
• Maintain superior attention to detail

In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A high level of accountability
• Reliability and adaptability
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities:

• Preparing financial statements
• Year-end working papers
• Personal and corporate tax work
• File preparation

Familiarity with CaseWare and TaxCycle would be an asset.

We're usually working closely with business owners, and our people feel like an extended part of their teams. Because we typically do all the bookkeeping and accounting work for our clients, the job turns out to be pretty interesting.

Working Here:

This is a full-time, in-office position. Compensation-wise, we typically begin paying a competitive hourly rate, depending on experience. Once you prove to be a good long-term fit, we can move you into a competitive annual salary.
