Associates will be responsible for:
- Gathering waste (cardboard, shrink wrap, metal, etc.) from lines.
- Loading material onto a tow motor forklift.
- Driving through a busy factory and appropriately discarding the waste.
- Taking a proactive approach to keeping all areas tidy, including the compactor area clear of debris.
Requirements:
- Ability to push, pull, stretch, lift, and bend.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work rotating days and afternoon shifts.
- Good attendance and punctuality are a must.
Shift Information:
Shifts rotate every two weeks between days and afternoons, with shift times varying. Typically, your schedule will be provided 1-2 months in advance. Hours are as follows:
Day Shift:
- 8 hours: 6:15am - 2:45pm
- 8.5 hours: 6:15am - 3:15pm
- 9 hours: 6:15am - 3:45pm
- Fridays are always 8 hours: 6:15am - 2:45pm
- Saturday production may occur and would be scheduled: 6:15am - 10:15am
Afternoon Shift:
- 8 hours: 5:30pm - 2:00am
- 8.5 hours: 5:30pm - 2:30am
- 9 hours: 5:30pm - 3:00am
- 9.5 hours: 5:30pm - 3:30am
- 10 hours: 5:30pm - 4:00am
- Fridays are always 8 hours and start an hour early: 4:30pm - 1:00am
