Role Overview
The BBQ Delivery Driver is a vital role within the Capital BBQ team. You will serve as the final touchpoint in delivering exceptional customer experience. This is not just a driving position — it's a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will be responsible for the safe and professional delivery of BBQ equipment, grills, and accessories directly to customers' homes and outdoor spaces.
Your role will require attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong focus on customer service. You will represent Capital BBQ in the field, ensuring that our products are delivered and set up with the highest level of care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities

• Delivery Execution: Transport BBQs, grills, and accessories to customer locations, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
• Customer Interaction: Provide a white glove delivery service, which may include unboxing, placement, and light assembly of products according to customer preferences.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload products, utilizing hand trucks and other equipment as necessary. Ensure products are securely transported.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records, including obtaining customer signatures, the removal of customer rejected products (when applicable), and managing any product-related issues.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, organized, and properly maintained. Operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and commercial vehicle regulations, including the accurate completion of logbooks.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any minor issues or inquiries from customers on-site in a courteous and professional manner.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to address any changes to delivery schedules or returns. Assist in warehouse tasks as required during downtime.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment, both in the warehouse and on delivery routes.

Qualifications

• A valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Required: A current 3-Year Driver's Abstract and CVOR Abstract to ensure compliance with commercial driving standards.
• Proven experience driving a 5-ton truck or similar commercial vehicle.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer interactions professionally and courteously.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with a partner.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability for early morning or evening deliveries, as needed.
• Experience in warehousing or logistics is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and initiative.
