Garbage Pickers - Atholville

We are seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to join our team as Garbage Pickers. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting residential and commercial waste from designated routes while working safely and efficiently with our crew.
Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $16.50/hr + 4% Vacation Pay
• Schedule: Approx. 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM (hours may vary)
• Overtime: Required on an as-needed basis
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect residential and commercial waste along assigned routes
• Service approximately 75–100 homes per shift
• Lift and empty garbage bins into trucks
• Operate/assist with hydraulic equipment
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
• Maintain a safety-first mindset at all times

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical labour including lifting and repetitive motion
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must have required PPE:
  • 8” Steel-Toe Boots
  • Safety Vest
