Position Summary
We are seeking a 1st/ 2nd Year Apprentice Welder/ Fabricator to join our Manufacturing team. This role plays a critical part in supporting fabrication workflows, constructing skids, base frames, and structural frames, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will bring technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
Work under the supervision of Journeyman welders to fabricate skids, base frames, and structural frames of all sizes
Fit and weld according to blueprint drawings
Cut and prep parts for welding
Operate and maintain equipment such as tape measures, grinders, torches, drill presses, and hand tools
Participate in safety meetings and follow all company safety protocols
Maintain high-quality, consistent workmanship while demonstrating a willingness to learn and improve

Qualifications
Registered or willing to register with the Alberta Apprenticeship Board
Knowledge of raw materials
Strong judgment, focus, and ability to work in a team environment
FCAW and GMAW welding experience (asset)
WHMIS and OSSA training (asset)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Tools used: welding helmet, 5" grinder, chipping hammer, hammer, center punch
