Salary: $95,000$130,000 (commensurate with experience)

Our client, a boutique commercial real estate firm in downtown Vancouver, is seeking a full-time, permanent Commercial Banking / Real Estate Paralegal. Key Responsibilities
- Manage real estate financing transactions for both lender and borrower clients, including preparing mortgages and related security documents, coordinating loan closings, and filing security documents with the Land Title Office.
- Support commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, including drafting and organizing closing agendas, preparing closing documentation, and assembling closing document books.
- Assist with land assembly and subdivision matters, including preparing Section 219 covenants, easements, rights of way, undertaking letters, and managing complex Land Title Office registrations.
- Prepare information packages and coordinate bulk closings for development units.
- Review and interpret purchase and sale contracts.
- Liaise with strata property managers, developers, sales centres, purchasers solicitors, clients, realtors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with LOTA and Property Transfer Tax reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Paralegal Studies or equivalent practical experience in banking/commercial real estate procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a banking or commercial real estate paralegal.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and manage objectives with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with real estate-related software and tools, including myLTSA, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and other relevant programs.
