Sheet Metal Worker

We are currently seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal & Ventilation Installer to join a well-established mechanical contracting team in Atlantic Canada, the job will be in Memramcook, NB
This opportunity is ideal for tradespeople with experience in ductwork and ventilation systems who are looking for steady work, professional growth, and the chance to be part of large-scale projects across the region.
THE ROLE

• Install ductwork, HVAC equipment, and ventilation components (including grilles, diffusers, exhaust fans, air handling units, and fire dampers)
• Receive, organize, and store materials on-site
• Follow workplace safety procedures and promote a safe working environment for others
• Track and communicate material needs to the site foreman
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Ensure tools are in proper working order and report any issues
• Provide and maintain required personal hand tools
• Deliver high-quality installation work on all HVAC and ventilation systems
• Support teamwork and contribute to a positive job-site environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Journeyperson or Red Seal in Sheet Metal trade is considered an asset
• Previous experience installing ducted heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in commercial or residential projects
• Familiarity with ducting for heat pumps, air handlers, and concealed units
• Reliable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Must supply the following hand tools:
  • 2 pairs of snips
  • 25' measuring tape
  • Assorted screwdrivers (Robertson & slotted)
  • Folding pliers, 2 pairs of vice grips, sheet metal hammer
  • Flat wrenches (standard & metric: 7/16”, 9/16”, 1/2”)
  • Crimper, level, pliers, utility knife
  • Tool box/bag and tool pouch
