Summary/Objective
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new sales. For our in-person attendance training academy, you will be managing customer relationships, and achieving sales quotas by engaging with prospects and customers remotely. They play a fundamental role in the entire sales cycle, from lead qualification to closing deals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calling, and emails.
Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
Maintain and expand a database of prospects.
Sales Cycle Management:
Understand customer needs and requirements through effective questioning and active listening.
Qualify leads to determine their potential and fit for the program.
Conduct effective program demonstrations and sales presentations remotely via video conferencing, or in person.
Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close sales to meet or exceed sales quotas.
Relationship Management and Collaboration:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Team with channel partners, and organization leadership to build a pipeline and close deals.
Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and with customer service to ensure a smooth post-sale experience.
Administrative and Reporting:
Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, EspoCRM with accurate customer and sales activity data.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, including calls made, leads generated, and deals closed.
Stay informed about new programs, services, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical/Hard Skills:
Proven inside sales experience and a track record of over-achieving quota.
Willingness to learn our CRM software EspoCRM
Experience with inbound and outbound prospecting and lead qualification techniques.
Familiarity with corporate productivity and web presentation tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Soft Skills:
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for persuasive and clear remote interactions.
Active Listening: The ability to give full attention to what others are saying and ask appropriate questions.
Negotiation & Persuasion: Skillful in influencing others to change their minds or behavior and in closing deals.
Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Time Management & Organization: Strong organizational and self-motivation skills to manage a high-volume pipeline and daily activities.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Prior experience in a sales, customer service, or Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is required
Minimum of 5 years of inside sales experience.
